Eagles Fun Run


Hold onto your sneakers and prepare for a dose of excitement because we’re thrilled to present the 1st Annual Eagles Fun Run hosted by SEES PTO!! The parents spoke during the 2024 parent survey, and we listened! This year, the PTO is proudly hosting the fun run ourselves—goodbye Apex!! 

Best part? Every single penny raised from the Eagles Fun Run goes directly to our amazing school, students, and teachers (no middleman!!!). The funds support programs such as STEM, Art, Music, Library, PE Equipment, Instructional Aides, Technology, and much more.  As this is our largest fundraiser of the year, your support is vital.

We kick off the campaign on November 12, 2024 with a pep rally at 8:50 a.m. featuring:

  • San Marcos High School Cheerleaders
  • Motivational Speakers
  • Cal State San Marcos Cross Country and Track Team
  • Mascots, and
  • An introduction to the campaign.
Parents are welcome to attend the pep rally, which will take place in the same location as a flag salute.
We are using the website PledgeStar (https://pledgestar.com/sees ), which has a minimal cost and is very easy to use. Each day will have a theme and a core concept following the Soar with W.I.N.G.S. acronym (Wellness, Inspiration, Nutrition, Goal Setting, and Strides). There will also be individual, classroom, and school-wide rewards.  Please register and share through PledgeStar!  We are so excited to have our OWN fundraiser campaign with no third-party cut. 

Eagles Fun Run Schedule and Volunteers

Come cheer on the students during their designated run times on Thursday, November 21, 2024:

  • AM TK and 1st Grade: 9:00 AM – 9:45 AM
  • 5th Grade: 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM
  • 2nd and 3rd Grades: 11:15 AM – 12:00 PM
  • PM TK, Kindergarten, and 4th Grade: 12:00 PM – 12:45 PM

We'll need help from parents to make this run a success!! We are seeking volunteers to help mark t-shirts, distribute water and support the event. Please sign up at the link below:

Tuesday, 11/12- School Spirit Wear/School Colors

Wednesday, 11/13- College or Career Spirit Day

Thursday, 11/14- Wellness Day, Workout Wear

Friday, 11/15- Inspiration Day, dress as someone who inspires you/favorite player jersey

Monday, 11/18- Nutrition Day, dress as your favorite healthy food or color of your favorite fruit or veggie (think bright colors like Orange for Oranges, Green for Broccoli/Spinach, Yellow for Banana)

Tuesday, 11/19- Goal Setting Day, wear your favorite "thinking cap" (hat)

Wednesday, 11/20- Strides Day, wear your favorite running shoes or clothes

Thursday, 11/21- FUN RUN DAY!! wear your Eagles Fun Run Shirt

Friday, 11/22- Recovery Day, wear Pajamas
